Welcome to the Federated Schools of St Joseph’s Catholic Nursery, Infants and Juniors, voluntary aided schools within the Diocese of Brentwood. Complete with our very own nursery, our passion is to develop independent, curious, and inspirational learners by providing the perfect environment for every child to grow and flourish. With a dedicated team of staff and supportive parents, we provide a nurturing environment based on a Catholic ethos where children achieve to their highest potential, both in their work and behaviour. As inclusive schools, we are proud to represent a community school at its best and welcome children from all religious or non-religious backgrounds in line with our admissions criteria.

In 2019, Key Stage 1 ranked in the top 20% of schools nationally for Reading, Writing and Maths.  More recently in 2022, Key Stage 2 were above national average for pupils reaching expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths.  We challenge children to achieve their very best through an ethos of positive praise and encouragement, high expectations and providing the right level of support. Consistency, excellent provision, high expectations and inspirational learning are the key to our success, where every member of the school community strives to reach their full potential.  Our aim is for our children to grow, achieve and succeed in primary school and beyond as socially responsible citizens. We provide a host of enrichment activities such as Forest School, Art and Music Workshops as well as a range of after school clubs in sport, drama, music, cookery and art.

Our website will hopefully give you some insight into our school; however, visits to our schools are warmly welcomed to meet the Headteacher and see our wonderful schools in action. Please call the school office to arrange a visit and see why our school is so special. A paper copy of any  information on our school website will be provided free of charge.
